A New Dundee plumbing & heating shop, built one job at a time.
We are Einwechter Plumbing & Heating, owner-led by Derek Knight from a small shop on Queen Street North in New Dundee, Ontario. Since 2018 we have grown from a one-truck residential operation into a multi-van team serving homes, commercial properties, and industrial mechanical rooms across Waterloo Region and into the GTA — without ever losing the way a homeowner expects to be treated.

“My name is Derek Knight, and I own Einwechter Plumbing & Heating.”
Since 2018, our team has dedicated itself to providing the maximum quality service to match not only the growth of the industry but also the latest techniques and technology. We started small. We still answer our own phone.
We work hard to ensure the highest level of workmanship and strong customer relationships. We'll be transparent with you and our services every step of the way — from the first quote, through the install, and into the years of service that come after.
Don't think of us as just industry experts. We're your neighbours, and we understand the importance of trust.

Show up when we said we would
Calls are scheduled, not shrugged off. We let you know if we’re running early or late, and we keep our word on arrival windows.

Quote it, don’t guess it
Written, itemized estimates before work begins. If we hit a surprise inside the wall, you hear about it before the meter keeps running.

Build it to code
Every install meets the National Plumbing Code of Canada. Water testing follows Canadian water-quality guidelines. Gas runs are pressure-tested.

Leave it tidier than we found it
Mechanical rooms get labelled. Floors get swept. Old fittings leave with us. The next person inside the wall thanks us.
The shop
A small Waterloo Region team that scales to industrial work.
The base is a small shop in New Dundee. The trucks are out every morning across Wilmot Township, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, New Hamburg, Baden, Ayr, and toward the GTA. The work splits roughly evenly between residential service and bigger commercial / industrial mechanical builds.
